Where We Began
Built From the Ground Up in Chicago
Nascent Group Inc. was founded on the belief that the window treatment industry deserved a hardware supplier that actually understood the trade — one that spoke the language of installers, thought in specifications, and treated delivery commitments as promises.
What started as a regional distribution operation supplying the Chicago metro area has grown into a recognized hardware partner for some of the Midwest's most respected retailers and design firms, including Costco's Graber program, Walter E. Smithe, and Ethan Allen.
Today, Nascent Group is expanding beyond distribution into manufacturing — developing proprietary hardware lines built to the specifications that decades of field experience have taught us actually matter.

Expanding Into Manufacturing
Distribution taught us what the market needs. Now we're building it. Our manufacturing division is developing a line of proprietary hardware — designed by the people who install it, tested under real field conditions, and priced for the trade.
Motorized tracks, custom rod systems, and Roman shade hardware built to tighter tolerances than anything currently available at our price point. Details to follow as we launch production.
